Litter Pod Solves Cat Urine Dilemna
I’ve been dealing with an exasperating predicament with our new little Zuli. She has a definite “aim” problem. Now, I thought at first it might be an issue of rebellion or even perhaps a territorial thing but I’ve come to terms with the fact that she just aims too high as I’ve noticed a spray-pattern on the sides of her litter tray. Odd … I never thought this would be a topic of interest but has become one as the clean-up is a real pain not to mention the residual odor. Once I identified the problem, I went to Wal-Mart and bought a high-sided, oversized litter tray thinking, O.K. “taller is better,” right? Well darn, it was only a partial solution. Even though we experienced fewer events, it didn’t completely eliminate the problem.
Ah, finally… the ideal solution! I found a terrific new product called the Litter Pod. Pretty snazzy! The top cover slips down over the bottom floor which doubles as the litter tray. It’s fabricated with a non-porous material on both the interior & exterior which makes clean-up a snap. More important, it “captures” all the urine over-spray on the inside cover. Finally, I think I’ve solved Zuli’s aim dilemma! Now, if I could only figure out how to keep her from tracking litter all over the bathroom floor!
Cats Are Picky, So Spoil Them!
Are you one of those people who spoil your pets? Do you like them to have the best care available? How about furniture? Yes, furniture. Cats have furniture too and they are wide-ranging. There are beds, scratching posts, cat trees, and tents.
Cat furniture is made from a variety of materials. And since cats are known to be pickier about what they want, the choices have to be extensive. Cat furniture can also blend well with your existing décor. Manufacturers have come out with a broad series of designer and modern pieces that can complement any kind of home décor. After all, if you’re a cat lover, you’re quite picky yourself.
Give Your Cat The World – He Deserves It!
If you’re a cat owner then you know that cats are not as easily trainable as dogs. They come and go as they please and they’ll do what comes naturally to them whenever they want to. Cats like to scratch. You can’t keep them from doing it ever. So don’t even try.
What you can do to prevent your cat from completely destroying your furniture is to buy him his own cat scratch post. It allows your cat to shred to its heart’s content without shredding your patience. Also getting your cat a scratch post is a better choice for you and your cat’s health instead of other preventive measures such as declawing or punishing your cat. Start your cat early by getting a post while it’s still a kitten. Remember, the earlier you start, the less damage inflicted on your prized suede sofa.
Silly Cat Antics
We’re always looking for interesting stories & photos about cats and their odd behavior. Here’s some great photos we recently received from Karen & “crew”; Alfie, Daisy & Zachary. Initially, I thought they were edited just to fool us into thinking these cats were really doing this stuff. As odd as it is, I’m fairly convinced that these are actual photos catching cats in “cat-antics!” What fun!! And we know, cats spend most of their time sleeping, the typical photos would be a boring (but cute) sleeping cat cozied-up in their cat bed.
Here’s more photos of silly cat antics. My favorite is the Invisible Stuck Pickle Jar!

The Story of Adam & Eve’s Pets
Adam and Eve said, ‘Lord, when we were in the garden, you walked with us every day. Now we do not see you any more. We are lonesome here, and it is difficult for us to remember how much you love us.’
And God said, I will create a companion for you that will be with you and who will be a reflection of my love for you, so that you will love me even when you cannot see me. Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be, this new companion will accept you as you are and will love you as I do, in spite of yourselves.’
And God created a new animal to be a companion for Adam and Eve.
And it was a good animal
And God was pleased. Read the rest of this entry »
